West End Y Run



Event Description: The West End Y has grown in participants every year. Besides the flat fast course, one of the big draws is the post race food selection and door prizes. The Y is open before and after the race for runners to use the facilities to shower and change clothes if necessary.

Course Description:  The 5k route is run through a flat quiet neighborhood.
Directions:  I-90 to Willoughby exit ( Rt.91) North to Euclid Avenue (Rt.20) East to YMCA (approx. 1 mile).

Pros: I thought the awards presentation and MC were outstanding. One of the better post-race ceremonies I have been to. Excellent acoustics on the sound system as well.
Cons: I didn't win a door prize. I wanted to win that car in the parking lot.

Cons: Awards presentation took way to long.
Comments: Need another person to handle the awards presentation. The guy they used this year was in over his head.
