Pros: A challenging off road course, you get to run through a corn maze, and through the pastures and trails, mostly well marked
Cons: longer than 5 miles,a few spots you can get lost at
Comments: This race is always an annual favorite

Overall:
Pros: Great challenge both physically and mentally. Really enjoyed the cross country: over the river, through the woods, avoiding the cow plops, ghosts, goblins, etc! I really liked the one guy near the horse barn who cheered me on right towards the end! That meant a lot to me!
Cons: Longer than 5 miles; my GPS had the run at 5.5 miles. Also, parts of the run were not well marked, I had to stop to see where I was supposed to go next.
Comments: Will be back!! A MAP would be a plus, especially if you are a walker and not running with the pack. Only time I knew where I was going was when I came out of the woods and could see the other runners weaving back and forth. Following the orange cones was not such a good thing, as the park had their own orange cones in spots, so it made the course confusing. Maybe you could start the walkers 15 minutes ahead of the runners so that a person could keep an eye on where one was supposed to go!

Pros: I like anything off pavement! Lots to look at, nice rolling hills, corn maze, friendly people, nice shirt.
Cons: Course was about 0.25 longer than advertised.
Comments: A course map would be a welcome handout.
